Dr. M.A. Baak
is a senior manager at KPMG Management Consulting and chief data scientist at the KPMG Big Data & Analytics team in the Netherlands, performing advisory services and building Big Data solutions for (often) the financial sector. His background is in particle physics. Before joining KPMG, he worked for 7 years as a staff researcher at the CERN laboratory in Geneva, where he contributed to the discovery and interpretation of the Higgs particle.
